Vermont Modern 2.0 – Redefining American Contemporary

We set some pretty lofty goals for ourselves in the second year of Vermont Modern. In the spirit of iconic American designers such as Charles and Ray Eames, Milo Baughman and George Nelson, our New Year’s resolution is to bring the soul, warmth and American spirit back into contemporary design. Our 2018 launch for Vermont Modern features carefully sculpted steel, unique blown glass and locally sourced materials such as Vermont maple wood, while still staying on top of the latest in LED lighting technology.

The Unity Pendant has glam and elegance, and curves on curves on curves. The soft subtle glow of the opal glass sets the mood and radiates through the rings.

New hand-blown glass elements debut in both the Cowbell and Kiwi collections where two very different designs share the same goal of bringing modern elegance to your space without any pretense.

Loves Me and Loves Me Not, clean simple sophistication available with or without a hand forged steel focal point.

Doubling as a lamp and bookshelf, Bookie features an articulating LED task lamp with a piece of Vermont maple housing the touch dimmer.

Whether or not we achieved this goal isn’t for us to decide, but to quote Steve Jobs, “The journey is the reward.”
