Raindrops cascading down a trellis were the inspiration behind Spring. Each "raindrop" created by the Vermont artisans at AO Glass, captures the light, resulting in an unexpected sparkle. The LED light guide is independently adjustable from the sculpture.
“The Spring pendant allowed us to develop a platform with our local glass artisans featuring a glass teardrop that would really catch the light. Once we had the glass developed, it was a matter of developing a simple frame that gave us (and future designers) the platform to develop not only this fixture, but something easily customizable to suit many future needs.”—David Kitts, Director of Design, Hubbardton Forge. The Spring Pendant has served as inspiration for several large-scale custom versions that, today, grace conference rooms, lobbies, and great rooms.
A NOTE ABOUT OUR TRANSLUCENT FINISHES —Variations in finish appearances are a normal and desired result of the process, rendering each piece an individual and unique work of art. Shown here in Dark Smoke (-07) are examples of the different textures and patterns seen through our translucent finishes.
