There's no need to make a choice between form and function - as part of the Cirque Collection, this large chandelier delivers both. Two concentric orbs are hand-forged into eight tapered steel petals merging at the sculpture's apex.
An iconic design by Director of Design David Kitts, the Cirque Collection illustrates the very DNA of Hubbardton Forge. Textured steel from the fires of 1800ºF forges, the red-hot metal bending to cede to the curved shape at the will of the metalcrafters, the Cirque’s orbs are welded by artists who have honed their craft, aided by tooling genius’ who custom-create the jigs that keep each piece in its place, then finished with care. Our Cirque designs represent the beauty and simplicity of form and function in a classic style with a contemporary point-of-view.
A favorite of the interior design community, the Cirque has found its way into some of the most elevated architectural projects, both residential and commercial.
A NOTE ABOUT OUR TRANSLUCENT FINISHES —Variations in finish appearances are a normal and desired result of the process, rendering each piece an individual and unique work of art. Shown here in Dark Smoke (-07) are examples of the different textures and patterns seen through our translucent finishes.
